This home includes;

Air Source Heat Pump
A 4.5KW solar array

We have a 1970s detached home with an air source heat pump and a 4.5KW solar array installed in 2021. We have new double glazing, super insulation in the house and underfloor heating. We recently added an annex that runs on another smaller air-source heat pump for underfloor heating.

We also don’t have any fossil fuel usage in the home having ditched the gas hob and don’t use our woodburner anymore either.

We also have a bluetooth lighting system in the annex that has timers and can be controlled using Alexa or Google.

We compost, walk as much as we can and use public transport when we can.

Our next step is to install a set of batteries to store the power we are generating from the solar.
