 Our house has no loft space and when built in 1968 the roof had very little roof insulation - 15mm of rockwool.

In 2020 we had to replace the roof covering as it was leaking. We took advantage of this work to:
- Improve the building's airtightness.
- Install as much insulation as possible within the new roof.
- Install 6kW of solar PV plus 27kW of battery storage.
- Install an MVHR unit and ducting.

Prior to 2020 we had installed double glazing to all windows and doors, taken measures to minimise draughts, replaced all lighting with LED bulbs.
