We installed thermal and PV solar panels about 10 years ago and have recently installed additional PV panels with battery storage (we run an EV vehicle).
We are also working to improve the insulation for the house in order that an Air Source Heat Pump can be installed. We have insulated the suspened floors in two rooms using best practice techniques as laid out by Ecological Building Systems Ltd. The next stage is looking for the best way to insulate the sloping ceilings in the first floor of our chalet bungalow.
