We made various improvements to get our EPC up to ‘C’ rating in our 1930’s semi-detached house and recently had an air source heat pump installed by Octopus Energy with upgraded radiators and a new high pressure hot water cylinder. It works really well, our bills are lower thus far and we are no longer connected to mains gas, so are saving on the standing charge.
