We live in a 1970's home in Bradford on Avon and were looking for ways to reduce the fossil fuel usage in our home. We had double glazing and cavity wall insulation about 10-15 years ago and PV panels installed approx 8 years.

The next step was to have a heat pump installed but firstly we had to increase the loft insulation to ensure that our home was going to be as efficient as possible. A day of laying rolls of insulation in the loft followed and so we were all set for the heat pump.

We have now had this now for 3 years and coudn't be happier and also we love the fact that we are no longer reliant on fossil fuels for our heating!!
